Report Weekending 14th July 2019
Championship Results for the Major Pairs on the 5th July 2019 were L Thompson and J Roberts defeated H Durrant and F Brassey, J Blackler and W Byers defeated L Watson and H Millard then on the 9th July the final was played with the winners being L Thompson and J Roberts over J Blackler and W Byers.
Social bowls on the 2nd July 2019 - A Innes, B Roberson and V Stewart were the lucky rink winners and J Grimshaw, J Howard, S Chisolm and L Mathews were the runners up.
Then on 6th July 2019 - M Simmonds, B Roberson and K Campbell were the lucky rink winners and the runners up were B Owens, A Constantine and K Campbell.
On the 9th July 2019 P Kelly, M Poulter and B McIntosh were the lucky rink winners and J Blackler and W Byers were the runners up.
Also, on the 13th July 2019 saw N Castles, O Hulland and D Batts as the lucky rink winners and A Todd, K Campbell and J Mathews were the runners up.
Congratulation to all who were appointed positions in the various committees for 2019-2020 we look forward to a great year ahead and a big thank you to all who serviced us last year.
