Kew Men’s Bowls News.

Saturday the 13th of July will be the Kew Country Club Memorial Bowls Day starting at 9am featuring the Ken Kinman Shield 2 games of 15 ends 3 bowl triples entry fee of $60 per team that includes a sit down lunch entries close Thursday at 6pm. First $600, 2nd $300, 3rd $150 and 4th $90. Lucky draw $60, $2 entry into the $200 Hancox/ Jack shootout players bowl diagonally across the green to a jack in the far corner the winner to take all.

Bowlers please note the AGM will be held on Saturday the 17th starting at 10am after the meeting there will be a free game of bowls and finger food all positions will be open.

Saturday cashpot triples and heading to butchers with the loot was Bill O’Donnell, Ian McLaren and Wicky Ray Allan, 2nd went to Les Alport, Mal Isaac and Graham Conen and 3rd place Dennis, Perko and Hammo1. Vouchers winners were Dick I never win anything Davies, Ellery Ross, Rob Edwards and Charles Doyle.

Wednesday social and skipping to the bank with the cash was Kerry Deas, Chicka Thompson and Pat O’Connor, the runner up dosh went to Steve McGregor, John Brow and Frosty. Voucher winners were Mick the bicky eater Ashford, Darren Darcy, Dick I never win anything Davies and Frank Raczka.

Just a reminder for those that have put their teams in for the Classic Fours could you please put your full team in as it shows that you have a full side for the event and it saves chasing players so if you could please fill the sheet in that is on the board.

For those entering the minor singles the cut off has been extended until the 20th of July.

Wednesday social Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
