News from Port City

The news report from the Port City Men's BC for the week ending Sunday 1st March, 2015 is now available thanks to Colin Halls.

Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or smart casual, with collared shirt, neat shorts/slacks

The final of the Club Championship Fours is scheduled for Thursday 5 March at 5pm, and promises to be a great game between the teams of C. Murray, T. Smith, G. Mitchell, skip M. Rand and J. Hrabak, K. Paulsen, B. Stewart and skip G. Brims.

The minor singles start this week, with the first round on Tuesday 3 March.

The LNC 2015 NSW state fours championships was played over the weekend at Port Panthers and the  Port City teams skipped by Greg Brims and Mike Rand were eliminated at the quarter finals stage.

Our good friend Gary Lawer is still in the base hospital and could be there for some time. If you would like to visit him, please check with the base 6581 2000 before hand.

Our regular bowler Jim (the arm) Lamb is returning to Victoria to be nearer to family. We wish him well.

The pennants starts next Saturday, so we wish our teams the very best of luck.
