News from Port City Women's BC

The news report from the Port City Women's BC for the week ending Tuesday 24th March 2015 is now available with thanks to Judy Brady.

With Grades 1, 2 and 4 Pennant all having completed their rounds, there was only one game played at our Club today.  Our Grade 3(1) side played their “sister” side of our Grade 3(2)s with the Grade 3(1)s coming out the winners.   We now await the announcement from our District Match Committee as to the winners of the respective Pennant Grades for 2015.

We have a different format for our Thursday pairs being played on Thursday 9 April – “Pot Luck Pairs”.  Single entries will be received for this day with players to draw for rinks/partners – sounds like it will be a lot of fun and visitors are most welcome.  Sheet for entries will be on the normal Thursday morning sheet 1 week prior.

Our Club Pairs Championship will close for entries on Tuesday 31 March so hurry and get your teams entered!  Also entries for our Easter Carnival close next Friday 27 March.  On Easter Sunday, the format will be as for our regular Sunday afternoon Triples, HOWEVER... the prizemoney will be $500!!!  Hurry and get your teams entered!!
