Bad weather caused the
cancellation of social bowls on Tuesday, but the Grade 4 Pennant Play went
ahead at Raymond Terrace. Our Team made us proud, winning their first 3 games
which took them into winning their section. The other section winners are
Nyngan, Narrabri and Lithgow Workmens Valley.
Daffodil Day is on next
Tuesday the 2nd September. We are having a Trading Table and are
looking for donations of plants, cakes, jams bric-a-brac books etc. There will
be a spider and all proceeds are for the Cancer Council.
Handicap Triples is on the 9th September and also the next non-players morning tea is on Tuesday 9th September, hoping to see you all then.

Out of the Hat Fours is on 16th
September and Carol is still taking entries for the Coca Cola Triples Carnival
to be played on 22nd and 23rd September.
There is to be a Members only
Mixed Triples on 11th October, 3X15 ends. It is single entry and
there is a sheet on the notice board for you to enter your names.
To any of our members or
their families who are not very well, we wish you a speedy recovery and look
forward to seeing you back at the club soon.
