Kew Men's Bowling ClubA special “reach out” to Frosty from all your mates at the club. Here's hoping your feeling better soon, and can shout us all a frosty cool beer soon.
Wednesday Social Bowls saw George Wise, Bob Sims and Gary Hamilton winning the loot. Runners up were Ray Elliott, John O’Neill and Rod Quirk. Grabbing the Vouchers were Ian Orr, Terry Miles, Wayne Thrussell, and returning to the winning circle Steve McGregor.
In the Friday Jackpot Triples, the half jackpot was won by Kim Thompson, Andrew Richards (don’t tell my missus) and Viv Gunter. Voucher winners were Kim Thompson, Ian Poole, Frank Raczka, and Greg Darcy.
A reminder that our AGM will be held next Sunday the 6th of August starting at 10am followed by bowls then a couple of beers and finger food. All positions will become vacant, including pennant selectors, so get your nominations in if you wish to be considered for a position.
The Club Pairs Competition is now scheduled to commence on Sunday 20th August and the draw is on the notice board in the Club House.
Monday Monthly Pairs are on the 7th August ($25 entry, 3x12 end games). Its a great day of fun and competition, so grab a mate and try your luck.
