Kew Men's Bowling Club
Wednesday Social Bowls saw Terry Miles, Rod Quirk and Howard Burrows grab the winners cash. Runners up were Adrian Hilton, Wayne Thrussell and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were Peter Laing, Andrew Richards, Griffo and Dennis Squires. Steve McGregor missed out and lodged a protest ;-)
Saturday Cashpot triples and heading to the butcher with their winnings were Brett Irwin, Jean Donald and Bill O’Donnell, 2nd Gary Ruprecht, Keith Collins and Barrie Isaac, and 3rd Brian Kirkwood, John and Dean Gemmell. Voucher winners were Dave Jones, Brad Conway, Margaret Ashford and Brian Kirkwood
Special congrats to Michelangelo Ashford and Gary Ruprecht, who managed to get amongst the prizes at the hornets nest. Steve McGregor and Viv Gunter also scored.
This week, Peter Laing was spotted painting and renumbering rink markers… your efforts are really appreciated! Great club spirit.
A reminder that Men's Pennants starts on 3rd August, with a trial game being held on Saturday 29th July at 10am. Our AGM will be held on Sunday the 6th of August starting at 10am followed by bowls then a couple of beers and finger food.
Monday Monthly Pairs are on the 7th August ($20 entry, 3x12 end games) so grab a mate and try your luck at the friendly club. Uniform dress is required for a 9am start and is open to other club members. You can register on the sheet in the club house, or contact Chicka, Pete or Frank.
