Kew Men's Bowling Club

Wednesday, we had the official opening of our new synthetic green with teams from all over our district in attendance Robert Dwyer the boss from LUSC made a short speech and then Doreen Barr President of the Kew ladies club, Barrie Isaac President of the men’s club and Greg Armstrong President of LUSC cut the ribbon to open the green then there was a big surprise for President Barrie with the naming of the green The Barrie Isaac Green in honour of all his years of dedication to the club. Congratulations Barrie very well deserved.

Friday jackpot triples and the JP is still in the hands of treasurer Tony and will be worth $260 on Friday the 18th of November. Rink winners were Frosty, Steve McGregor and Mick the bickie eater Ashford, in the runner up spot were Andrew Richards, Adrian Hilton and Reggie Robb. Vouchers went to Peter Laing, Jeb, Steve McGregor and Stewart Rogan.

There will be a trial match on Friday arvo against the div 4 team that will be travelling to Warilla to compete in the state championship. If you have some time to come out and give the boys some support playing against our grade 2 team, we wish the div 4 boys all best of luck in their championship campaign.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
