Kew Men's Bowling Club
Saturday afternoon we were treated to a nail-biting round of pennant when Kew div 4 went up the hill to take on Combine, the lads on the hill were favourites to take out the match but Chicka’s lads were not to be out done and came home with an 8/2 win. Kew showed the never give in attitude that could see them go all the way and bring home a state flag.
The final of the major minor pairs was held Tuesday arvo Reggie Robb and Gary Hamilton played Gary Cheers and Budgie Brecard, Gary and Budgie led 9/1 early in the match and then the Machine and Reggie put the pedal down and scooted away to win the match by a comfortable margin. Well done to you all for making the final.
