Kew Men's Bowling Club
Saturday afternoon our div 4 pennant team travelled to North Haven and in a hard-fought match with some fantastic bowls played Kew came away with a 10/0 win. Well done lads keep up the good work. This week div 2 away to North Haven, div 3 home to Lake Cathie and div 4 home to Lake Cathie, 12pm start, be at the club by 11am for a roll up off the green by 11.30.
The major minor pairs are well underway with some interesting results Jeff Wylie and Rocky Davis def Stewart Rogan and Dave Napper, Reggie Robb and Gary the machine Hamilton def Jeff Dixon and Brian Charters, Gary Cheers and Budgie Brecard def Adrian Hilton and Charles Doyle and Viv Gunter and Greg Darcy def John and Dean Gemmell.
The Classic Fours are on the 10th and 11th of September, there are still a couple of spots left, if you want a game contact Barrie on 0436126660.
Wednesday social and heading to the bank with their winnings were Will Richie, Rooster Darcy and Peter Griffith, in the runner up spot were Frank Raczka, Jeff Wylie and Rocky Davis. Vouchers went to Bill O’Donnell, Frank Raczka, Terry the arm Miles and Stewart Wellard.
Some interesting murals have appeared on the wall near the grass green thanks to the artistic flair of Peter Laing, Chicka, and Barrie well done lads.
Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
