Grade 4 Pennant Saturday afternoon Kew def Comboyne 8/2 in a thrilling match, the winner wasn’t decided until the last bowl was played. Well done to both teams the game was played in great spirit.
Thursday afternoon five games were played in the major minor pairs Adrian Hilton and Charles Doyle def Darren Darcy and Ray Allan, Reg Robb and Gary Hamilton def Chicka Thompson and Jeb Keirghty, Jeff Wylie and Rocky Davis def Frank Raczka and Wayne Thrussell, Jeff Dixon and Brian Charters def Ian Orr and Gary Ruprecht, Stewart Rogan and Dave Napper def Dave (Harley) Jones and Mick the bickie eater Ashford.
Wednesday social and scooting to the shop to buy a lettuce were Darren Darcy, Cliff Kerr and Bob the hand breaker Kennett, following close behind were the runner up crew of John Smith, Steve Hall and Peter Griffith. Voucher winners were Gary Ruprecht, Tony Austin, Ray Elliott and Peter Griffith.
Sunday the 14th of August the AGM will be held at the club starting at 10am all positions will be vacant, after the AGM a game of bowls then some nibbles and a cool drink.
Bowls this week Wednesday social names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
