Kew Men's Bowling Club

One game of major pairs on Wednesday with Rod Sutton and Wayne Thrussell def Dave Napper and Ian Poole and 2 games in the pairs on Saturday Brian Charters and Phil Collins def Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle after the game was even at 21 ends, on the 22nd end Frosty and Phil just managed to score the required shot to take the match. In the other game Gary Ruprecht and Barrie Isaac, def Mark Hammond sub for Peter Griffith and Mick Stuttard. Two games on Sunday Brian Charters and Phil Collins def Gary Ruprecht and Barrie Isaac, John and Dean Gemmell def Reggie and Trevor Robb that leaves two games to be played in the pairs John and Dean Gemmell v Rod Sutton and Wayne Thrussell and the winner to play Frosty and Phil in the Final.

Entries close on the 18th of July for the major singles get your name on the sheet if you want to play.

It was good to welcome back some familiar faces at the Monday Monthly pairs tournament hopefully this is only the start of continuous bowls at the club. In 1st place was Gary the machine Hamilton and Charles Doyle, 2nd Leslie Faulstone and Paul Cini, 3rd Peter and Karen Campbell and 4th Sandra Gill and Maritha the jackpot was not one and is worth $900 on Monday the 3rd of August.

Friday jackpot triples and there were three very happy lads who won the jackpot well done Cliff Kerr, Ian Hodgkinson and Trevor sparky Boyle. Voucher winners were Trevor Boyle, Gary Ruprecht, Cliff Kerr and Steve McGregor.

Bowles this week Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples name in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
