Kew Men’s Bowls News.

The grass green is almost ready for play just a few finishing touches and we be on our way and from all the bowlers we would like to thank Brendon and his merry men for all the hard work that has gone into getting the green ready to play on and also to the workers from the club a very big thank you.

More action in the major singles with Mick Ashford def Ray Allan in a very had fought game, Mick Stuttard def Ross Harris, Dean Gemmell def Reggie Robb and Charles Doyle def Mark Hammond.

Saturday cashpot triples and scooting out the door with the cash was Ellery Ross, Dean Gemmell and Dick I never win anything Davies, 2nd went to Howard Burrows, John Gemmell and Rod Sutton and 3rd spot went to the dream team John Hilton, Terry Miles and Mick Stuttard. Voucher winners were Griffo the great, Ellery Ross, Bill O’Donnell and Frosty.

The draw is on the board for the club triples please check and see when you are required to play.

Wednesday social and Charles Doyle was the winner of the rink prize and Brian Davies, Rod Sutton and Ian Hilton picked up the runner up loot. Vouchers went to Jim Race, Ray Pantlin, Steve Hall and Peter Griffith.

Monday Monthly pairs are on the 3rd of June this event is open to men women and mixed start time is 9am dress is club uniform, come on out to the friendly club and enjoy a day on the greens.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
