The pennant season has come to an end with the twos finishing 2nd being the best of the four grades, the selectors would like to thank all the players for their commitment throughout the season and we would also like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck on their journey towards the flag.
The Wizard would like to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and help following Kath’s illness, we hope you’re on the mend soon Kath from all the bowlers at Kew Bowling Club.
Friday jackpot triples and again the jackpot stays in the bank and will be worth $348 on the 31st of May. Rink winners Leslie Faulstone, Rob Edwards and Terry Stringer, the runner up cash went to Greg Arndel, Perko and Roy Hill. Voucher winners Charles Doyle, Bob Kennett, Peter Laing and John Gemmell.
Wednesday social and heading to the bait shop was Ray Pantlin, Ian Hodgkinson and Peter Laing, the runner up loot went to Steve McGregor, Reggie Robb and Terry Duff. Voucher winners Dave Jones, Ian Poole, Bob Sims and Peter Laing.
Three games in the major singles were played on Wednesday Gary Ruprecht def Dave Napper, Dean Gemmell def Adrian Hilton, Brian Charters def Barrie Isaac and on Sunday Mick Stuttard def Peter Laing.
