Weekly News
We had lots happening today at Port City. There was another round of pennants in play as well as the first round of club singles and our normal social games. The greens were full of colour and friendship as Port City welcomed our visiting teams from Westport and Hat Head.
Pennant Winners: Grade 2. Kempsey Macleay def. Port City Grade 3 Port City def. Westport Grade 4 Blue Port City 5 def. Hat Head.
Congratulations on a great effort to two of our players Elaine Eames and Jenny Wallis who made it to the finals of Senior Pairs. They were unfortunately beaten by Westport on the day.
Club minor singles entries are now open until 16 April, first round is 23 April.
Club Open Pairs entries are also open until 23 April.
Entries for Easter Saturday Ladies Triples Carnival are now open 20 April. The cost is $15 per head which includes two games of bowls and lunch. Mixed triples will be played on Easter Sunday 21 April.
