We are saddened to
announce the passing of our beloved patron Lorna Whitehead on Wednesday 26th
September. She will be greatly missed by all her friends at Port City. Lorna’s
funeral will be held on Wednesday 3rd October at 10.00 am at St Agnes Catholic
Church. There will be a private burial. The Ladies Club will form a Guard of
Honour.

The Coca-Cola 3 day Open Triples Carnival was held on 24th, 25th and
26th September, so there was no Social Bowls on Tuesday.
The first day was very windy and games were played in very trying conditions.
8 visiting clubs were represented - South Grafton, Taree Leagues, Lake
Cathie, Port Panthers, North Haven, Westport, Kew, Kempsey Heights, Wauchope,

On Saturday 6th October the club is introducing an afternoon game of
open jackpot pairs.
Play to commence at 1.00 pm. Format - 2 men, 2 ladies, or mixed.
Dress will be smart casual and there will be a blind draw.
Play will be 21 ends or until the bell at 4.00.
