Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 29th July.

Wednesday pm :- $15 D.McGregor ,I.Handley and B.Crutcher  $10 J.Jackson ,E.Leonard and K.Ison .Major /Minor Pairs  AJ.Uptin and A.White def B.Richardson and R.Trow .

Thursday am :- $10 J.Wallis and M.Doyle   $7 R.Kean  and  M.Norman.

Thursday pm :- 64 Bowlers played in Warm Conditions with the day winners being :- $15 P.Gilligan and (the birthday boy )Tom Cornforth  $10  J.Burge and  M.Wallis ,The Jackpot of $100 was not  won by R.Bradbury and C.Campbell. Minor Pairs Semi Final :- R.Bradbury  and C.Campbell  def G.Keft  and T.Scholz .

Friday pm :- 76 Bowlers with a number of visitors from Victoria have a great game in Warm Conditions with the day winners  $15J.Bate and F.Easterbrook from North Haven $10 L.Butler and G.Williams The Jackpot of  $423 was not won by J.Green and B.Chapman . Major / Minor Pairs A.Eames (sub) and K.Ashdown def G.Laird and J.Sallustio .

Saturday am :- $10 L.Bishell and B.Hodgson $7 E.Riedel , H.Cooper and B.Owens .

The Final of the Minor Pairs was played this afternoon with the Winners being :- Shane Muir and Graeme McKay def R.Bradbury and Chris Campbell congratulations to Shane and Graeme .

Major /Minor Pairs C.Thornton and A.Pascoe def I.Binder (sub) and M.Wallis ,B.Apps and J.Rossiter def M.Glasse and G.Worley .

Sunday am Major / Minor Pairs A.Eames (sub) and K.Ashdown def B.Apps and J.Rossiter , AJ.Uptin and A.White def C.Thornton and A.Pascoe .

Sunday pm :-  74 Players with a lot of Visitors from Victoria had a great game of bowls in Windy and Cool conditions , Day Winners were :-  $10 M.Thompson , D.Lomas and G.Thompson  $7 R.McCrow , M.McCrow and J.O’Brien $5 N.Gray , J.Humphrey and A.Gray .  Lucky Envelopes 1^st R.Limbert 2^nd F.Williams 3^rd K.Edward 4^th G.Carmody 5^th N.Kennedy .Raffle 1^st Barry Smith  2^nd C.Blevins  3^rd B.Pritchard .
