News
It was a great day to be on the green and we had a great turnout
of 54 social players.
One more round of club pairs was played today with D
Gudgeon and D Allen going on to the next round.
Weekend Pennant Entries close on 31 May. Play will consist
of teams of four graded players. See Judy or Margaret Doyle for more detail.
Nominations for the Minor pairs competition will close 4
June. To enter put your name on the sheet and $5pp goes to the match committee.
As at June 1st there will be an increase in green fees.
Tuesdays will be $11, Thursday and Saturdays will be $10, and Sunday will be $12.
Port City Gala Day is coming up on the 25 June. We will be
running a trading table on the day as well as having a spider. This is a
fundraiser for the district. We would really appreciate any donations.
On Tuesday 28 May we are holding “The Biggest Morning Tea”
in support of those impacted by cancer. We were wondering if anyone would like
to donate a cake or slice. See Robin Biddle for more information.
The club Chairman is looking for feedback in regards to the
proposed extensions. Don’t hesitate to pass on any ideas you may have.
Club triples is open next week and closes 18 June.
Congratulations to our two
teams who have made it into the State finals. P Baker and K Hardy will
represent our club in mixed pairs and our senior fours represented by M Tyree, G
Wiget, J Barry, and E Ramsay.
Tomorrow 22 May our Grade Ones and Grade Fours will playoff
at Tuncurry Beach Club. It would be great if you can get down there to support
our girls.
