"CLUBS TO BENEFIT FROM SIGNIFICANT BOWLSLINK UPGRADE"

"BowlsLink is set for some exciting changes with an upgrade scheduled for Monday, August 5.

There are two important changes clubs and BowlsLink administrators should be aware of regarding the membership and club information areas as part of this update."

Junior Inter-Zone 7-A-Side Champions

 

ZONE 16 CROWNED JUNIOR INTER-ZONE 7-A-SIDE CHAMPIONS

"Zone 16 has secured the title of Champion Zone at the 2023/24 Junior Inter-Zone 7-A-Side Championship at Club Dubbo for the second consecutive year. In a closely contested battle, Zone 16 edged out Zone 3 by just five points to clinch the overall title."

National Rankings System to Shift to Fully Online

"Bowls Australia will transition its National Rankings System online, streamlining the process for clubs and participants.

With BowlsLink now fully national, after Bowls Queensland recently adopted the platform, BA will look to turn the rankings process into an online system, providing automatic updates as events conclude."

"The 2024 KENO NSW Blues vs Queensland Test Series has concluded at St Johns Park after two days of intense competition featuring some of the best players in the country and the world. Six sides went head-to-head in a best-of-three Series, Men’s and Women’s Open, Over 40s, and Under 25 Sides."

Kew Classic Fours 2024

The following news release has been received on Thursday the 4th July from Andrew Richards.

"The Kew Classic Fours this weekend have been cancelled due to poor weather. With the number of people travelling for the event, an early decision was needed, and the current condition of the Grass Green and the weekend forecast meant that sadly, we’ve had to call it off."

NSW - New Regional Administratios

A New Chapter - Welcoming the New Region Administrations

"Dear all,

It’s been 15 months since we asked you whether we should reform the existing Zone (men’s pathways) and District (women’s pathways) Association structures that assist with the delivery of bowls in NSW and create a unified structure to assist with the delivery of our sport into the future.

You answered a resounding YES at the time, and since then we have both listened to and actioned your feedback on this process.

Today, I am very pleased to announce the commencement of our new Region Associations."
