 Kew Men's Bowling Club

Sunday morning the quarter finals of the mixed pairs were played with some excellent bowls being played. Sue Hardwick and Wayne Thrussell def Leonie Murphy and Rocky Davis, Jean Donald and Peter Laing def Wendy and Barrie Isaac, Ida Bruno and Dean Gemmell def Kim Thompson and Greg Darcy and Carol lady of the match Cheers and Sparra Cheers def Jenny and Stewart Wellard.

Saturday our 7grade pennant team travelled to Hibbard's and came home with a 10/0 victory. Congratulations lads if only we knew what we know now.

Saturday, we hosted Comboyne in a pennant trial. A tough battle was contested and hopefully it will be enough to help the boys from the hill all the way to the State playoffs.

Friday jackpot triples and the jackpot increases to $374 on Friday the 19th of May. Rink winners were Adrian Hilton, Steve McGregor and Mick the bickie eater Ashford, the runner up loot went to Karen Rogan, Anne Smith and John Smith. Voucher winners were Viv Gunter, Barrie Isaac, Gary Ruprecht and Stewart Rogan.

Wednesday social and heading home with the loot were Dean Gemmell, Ian Poole and Viv Gunter, in the runner up spot where Budgie Brecard, John Gemmell and Ian Hodgkinson. Vouchers went to Dean Gemmell, Terry Miles, Rod Quirk and Brian Kirkwood.

Monday monthly pairs and picking up the moola were Steve McGregor and Mick the bickie eater Ashford, 2nd Bob Sims and Stewart Rogan, 3rd Leonie Murphy and Paul Cini and 4th place Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle. Round winners were Les Allport and Graham Conen, Trent Coffin and Troy Eams and Ian Orr and Budgie Brecard. There were two very happy ladies who won the jackpot worth $400. Congratulations goes to Olive Daly and Rayleen Austin, well done ladies.

An early reminder our Classic Fours will be held on the 8th and 9th of July good prize money on offer grab a couple of mates and try your luck at the friendly club.
