Kew Men's Bowling Club

The final of the major pairs will be played on Saturday the 12th of March at 12.00 pm come on out and watch a great game between two well matched sides.

There were two cracking games in semi-final of the major pairs Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle played Daryle Barr and Wayne Thrussell and it was Gary the machine who really stood out with precision bowling and helped Charles to a strong win over Daryle and Wayne, in the other semi-final Frosty and Phil Collins struggled early in the match with Peter and Mick playing great bowls then the tide turned and with Phil playing a great skips game they were able to go on and win the game. Congratulations to the winners of both games’ commiserations to the losers.

Wednesday social and picking up the moola were Daryle Barr, Bob the hand breaker Kennett and Greg Wilkins, in the runner up spot were Steve McGregor and Ian Poole. Vouchers went to Adrian Hilton, Keven West, Chicka Thompson, Ian Orr and Dave Napper.

Saturday cashpot triples and in the winner’s, circle were Ian Orr, Gary Ruprecht and Brian Charters, in 2nd spot Jeff Wylie, Bob Sims and Stewart Rogan and 3rd Ian Hodgkinson, Trevor Boyle and Rocky Davis. Vouchers went to Daryle Barr, Chicka Thompson, Olga Tomlin and Frosty.
