The major singles are progressing quickly with 5 games played on Wednesday afternoon Rocky Davis def Reggie Robb, Mick Stuttard def Budgie Brecard, Charles Doyle def Brian Kirkwood, Mark Hammond def Terry Miles and Bill Bailey def Chicka Thompson and Friday arvo Brian Charters def Wayne Thrussell. Congratulations to the winner’s commiserations to the Losers.

Wednesday social and picking up the cash were P Richards, Ron Hale and Robert Tucker, the runner up prize went to Reggie Robb. Voucher winners were Budgie Brecard, Davey Jones, Ray Elliott, Bob Sims and Ron Hale.

A big cheerio to two of our members Howard Burrows and Jock Wyper we hope you are feeling better soon and back on the greens.

Monday monthly pairs are on the 5th of July, 9am start uniform dress men, women or mixed all are welcome come on out to the friendly club and enjoy a day on the greens.

Friday jackpot triples and the JP is safe in Tony’s hands for the moment and will be worth $266 on Friday the 2nd of July. Rink winner went to rink 1 and that was Frosty, in the runner up spot George Wise, Jeff Nichols and Bob Sims. Voucher winners were John Hilton, Davey Jones, Wayne Thrussell, Tony Austin, Peter Laing and Rocky Davis.

The AGM will be held on the 7th of August where all positions will be vacant, have a good think about putting your hand up for any of the positions.

Keep this Saturday the 26th of June free and help us celebrate our past members featuring the Ken Kinman Shield, 3 games of 10 ends 3 bowl triples $60 per team and a chance to win some ready cash, 1st $600, 2nd $300, 3rd $150 and 4th $60 games start at 9am. After bowls there will be meat and seafood raffles. Men, women or mixed teams welcome come on out and enjoy yourself at the friendly club.
