Bowls NSW - Membership and Competition Eligibility

Women’s Bowls NSW and Bowls NSW are now unified into a single STA (Bowls New South Wales Limited). This means that there are implications which affect the membership and competition eligibility of both male and female members.

The following is a news release from Julie Fraser regarding restrictions at Westport.

Update Tuesday 29th June 2021: "greens are open but must wear a mask to play. Restrictions apply . See Bowls office."

Sunday 27th June: "All greens at Westport are closed until further notice. Championships suspended till further notice and organised Bowls . Due to new Covid 19 restrictions in country areas."

Port Macquarie Mixed Pairs Day 2

 

The Port Macquarie Mixed Pairs Tournament continued today under a bright sunny sky.

The following has been posted by Phil Baker, Port City Bowls on Facebook this afternoon.

"Attention all Bowling competitors in the PMQ mixed pairs unfortunately has been cancelled due to the restrictions been enforced today at 3:00pm by the NSW Premier. We apologise for any inconvenience. I will be contacting all winners in the upcoming days."

Port Macquarie Mixed Pairs Tournament

 

The $7,500 Port Macquarie Mixed Pairs annual tournament commenced today Friday the 25th June, 2021 under cloudy skies.

Games are played at Westport, Port City and Hibbard with the sections rotating each day. Play continues Saturday & Sunday with the presentation lunch at Westport.

Hasting Haven District Mixed Pairs

 

District Winners of the Mixed Pairs - Carol White & Jim Gaskill (Port City)

The finals of the Hasting Haven Women's District Mixed Pairs was played at Port City on Sunday the 6th June, 2021.

The District Champions are Carol White & Jim Gaskill (Port City) with Chris Errington & Bruce Anderson (Port City) in second place. Three games were played in the round robin final.

Zone 14 Men's Pennant Finals 2021

The Zone 14 Pennant finals for Grades 2 - 7 will be held this weekend Saturday the 5th - Sunday the 6th June 2021.

Games will be played at South West Rocks, Kempsey Macleay RSL and Stuarts Point.
