News from Kew - MBC

 The news report from the Kew Men's BC for the week ending Sunday the 7th February, 2021 is now available.

Kew Men's Bowling Club

Saturday afternoon three teams from Kew played in the Presidents shield against North Haven with the North Haven boys proving too good, our twos had a win but the fives and Sevens were soundly beaten. Well done North Haven till we meet again next year.

In the club fours Ian Poole, Dave Napper, Mark Hammond and Charles Doyle def Howard Burrows, John Gemmell, Barrie Isaac and Mick the bickie eater Ashford, Frank Raczka, Brian Charters, Mick Stuttard and Dean Gemmell def Jeff Wylie, Stewart Rogan, Jeff Dixon and Wayne Thrussell and Gary Cheers, Paul Cini, Gary Hamilton and Peter Griffith def Adrian Hilton, Daryle Barr, Bindi Notara and Ingo Model.

Monday monthly pairs and having a field day with the cash was David Graham and Fred Payne who not only won the day but picked up the jackpot of $500. Well done. In 2nd place Gary Ruprecht and Mal Isaac, 3rd Nola and Roger Hall and in 4th spot team Anderson.

Wednesday social and picking up the loot was Adrian Hilton and Jeff Wylie, the runner prize went to Jock Wyper, Viv Gunter and Jeff Nichols. Voucher winners were Stuart Wellard, Leslie Faulstone, Charles Doyle, Jock Wyper and Reggie Robb.

The Comboyne boys will be down on Sunday the 14th of February at 9am if you are playing could you be there by 8.30am.

Friday jackpot triples and Howard Burrows, John Gemmell and Gary Hamilton were the winners, Rod Sutton, Chicka Thompson and Mick Stuttard were the runner’s up. Vouchers went to John Hilton, Chicka Thompson, Dave Jones and Greg Darcy.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
