Well, it’s that time of year where we stop to celebrate and relax amongst friends and family. I’m personally looking forward to Break Up Day and Presentations this coming Tuesday, as I’m sure you are.

To recap the order of the day:

8.45 a.m. Xmas Photo on the green (bowlers and non bowlers)
9.00 a.m. Bowls
11.30 a.m. Bell rings. Freshen up, grab a drink and your seat for lunch
12.00 p.m. Lunch, Presentations and entertainment.

Last Tuesday a very special milestone was achieved by our wonderful Trade Table volunteers. The tables were heaving under the weight of all the amazing donations. Food, books, crafts, jewellery, plants, clothing; the list was endless.

A record-breaking $935.00 was raised! Marilyn Heslehurst and her team did a fabulous job as did all the ladies who donated and purchased on the day. Marilyn especially asked me to pass on her thanks to all concerned. What a spectacular effort by all!

L to R. Record breaking Trade Table Team. B. Barker, M. Heselhurst, L. Lawson, D. Batts. Standing J. Dewson and E. Jones.

Finally, may your Christmas be full of love and laughter, peace and joy. I look forward to seeing you all early in the new year rested and relaxed and ready to make 2021 our best yet!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cheers
Jill
