Red versus Blue, with the selectors doing an excellent job with some very even teams taking to the greens.  After some good games and a lot of healthy rivalry, The Blues, President Anne’s teams, won out.  Well done to all, and better luck next year Secretary Barbara.

The lucky skips on the day were , Susan Malzard and Marilyn Dewson. Seconds Effie Blueming and Roz Hancox and leads Bev McIntosh and Glenys Potts.

After a very successful Mixed Memorial Day the Men’s and Women’s Clubs want to hold a mixed Tournament on Sunday 6th December in the morning .  Mixed 3 bowl pairs – single entry as well as team.  $15 for 2 games of 12 ends – winners play winners and losers play losers with prize money for both divisions.  The sheet is in the bowls section.

Xmas Breakup and Presentation Day.

A game of bowls, lunch, then presentations with lots of fun thrown in. Don’t miss out, Liz is now collecting $15 lunch money. Remember to dress up in your favourite Xmas attire.

Presentations. It would be lovely to see all recipients there to collect their trophies on the day.

Xmas Hampers

Thanks to those donations which have been already received. The hampers should be awesome! The cupboards still have room for more though, so keep ‘em coming! We have received a plethora (a heap 😃) of shortbread and lollies already so if not already bought, other goodies would be appreciated. Please hand your unwrapped donations to Pattie or Daphne over the coming few weeks. Thank you!

Our thoughts and best wishes to all members unwell or recovering, we hope to see you back soon.

Cheers

Jill Howard
