Congratulations to Judy Brady on winning the District Singles and to Karen McFarlane runner-up. Judy now progresses to the Regional Singles Play-off at Taree Leagues on 12th August.

It was lovely to see our morning tea ladies here again to-day – Marianne Smith, Gwen Turner, Muriel Whitbourne and Beryl Young all enjoyed a good chat, catching up on all the news and watching the championships being played.

Happy Birthday to Beth Hicks, Eveline Ramsay, Beth Schubert and Frances Green, we hope you all enjoyed your special day.

Entry to the Major/Minor Pairs is now open and will close on 4^th August and the first round will be played on the 18^th August.

Entry forms are now out for the Versatility Fives which will be played 21^st and 22^nd  September. Get your teams together as soon as you can because we have already received quite a few entries.

It is the AGM next Monday 9.00 am and will be held upstairs in the function room, please make every effort to attend as there will be some voting, and we do need a quorum to hold the meeting.

On Tuesday the second round of the club triples will be played – 9.00 am start. Social bowls 9.15 for a 9.30 start. The Ocean Breeze Coffee Shop is closing for business on Sunday the 19^th, so please remember to bring your lunch.

To any of our members or their families who are not very well, we wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back at the club soon.
