Exciting news last week when two Port City teams vied
for the honour of winning the
District Pairs. Excellent bowls by both teams with
Morgan Solman-Stewart and Janine
Stockham being the victors over Judy Brady and Barbara
Barrett. Congratulations to
all four players and well done girls.
Just a reminder that Veterans Day will be held at Lake
Cathie Bowling Club on Monday
2nd April - entries close on the 18th March. Morning
tea 10 am - bowls 10.30 am and
lunch 12.30 pm. Be sure to put your name on the
list.
Something different this year for our Easter Carnival on
Saturday 7th April. It will be
a three bowl pairs event - 3 games of 12 ends. Entries
to Carol Bowman 65849229.
Quite a few of the girls have had surgery recently and
we all wish you a good recovery
and a year of better health. Best wishes and love to
everyone.
