Kew Men's Bowling Club

Sunday saw the final of the club minor pairs Frank Raczka and Dave Napper played Ian Poole and Peter Laing in what was a cracker of a game that wasn’t decided until the last bowl was played, Frank and Dave held on to win the game that was played in great spirit. Congratulations frank and Dave, commiserations Ian and Pete.

Saturday saw the finish of the rained-out game in grade 3 pennant against Port City at home and the result did not go the way we would have liked with the Port boys playing a little too good for us to make to the playoff round. We wish the best of luck to the Port lads in their next game. The 6-grade team went to Comboyne and had a 9/1 loss good luck Comboyne in your next game. The 7s went to North Haven and came home with a 9.1/2 to a ½ loss good luck lads in your remaining games.

Wednesday social and picking up the cash were Ian Orr, Reggie Robb and Terry Miles, in the runner up spot were Frank Raczka, Jeff Dixon and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were Dave Harvey, Ian Orr, Dave Napper and Jeff Wylie.

Monday monthly pairs are on the 1st of May grab a mate and try your luck at the friendly club uniform dress is required for a 9am start.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both day mufti dress all welcome.
