Kew Men's Bowling ClubSunday afternoon saw a cracking game of bowls between Jeff Dixon and Ian Poole in the final of the minor singles, both players deserved to win and it was an each way bet right untill the last bowl was played, Jeff held off Poolie to win 25/23. Congratulations to you both for an entertaining afternoon of great bowls.
Pennants played Saturday round 3. Grade 3 had a strong win over Westport 10/0, grade 6 went down by 1 shot on the big board 2/8 and grade 7 had a good win over Westport 10/0. Well done lads keep up the good work.
Friday jackpot triples and the JP stays in the bank and will be worth $266 Friday the 24th of March. Rink winners were Gary Ruprecht, Terry Miles and Barrie Isaac, the runner up spot went to Peter Mauger, Jeff Nichols and Terry Duff.
Wednesday social and picking up the moola were Jeff Wylie, Stewart Rogan, Jeff Dixon and Terry Miles, in the runner up possie were Andy Richards, Adrian Hilton, Viv Gunter and Ray "wicky " Allan. Vouchers went to Barrie Isaac, Ray Pantlin and Peter Griffith.
Monday monthly pairs and in winners circle were Frank "Bullwinkle" Rascka and Rocky Davis, 2nd Gary Cheers and Peter Griffith, 3rd Daryle Barr and Wayne Thrussell and 4th Wendy and Barrie Isaac. Round winners were Chicka Thompson and Gary Hamilton, Goffin and Eams, Maree Cini and Leonie Murphy.
