Kew Men's Bowling Club

The final of the club triples was played on Thursday afternoon and what a great game it was with the Charles Doyle led team out in front seemingly with enough shots to win comfortably but the Rocky Davis led team put on the pressure and only went down on the last end 23/22. Congratulations to Dick Croft, Mick Ashford and Charlie Doyle. Commiserations to Frank Raczka, Chicka Thompson and Rocky Davis.

Friday jackpot triples and for the first time we have four teams sharing the jackpot Terry Miles, Ian Poole and Greg Darcy, Doreen Barr, Reggie Robb, and Rocky Davis, Bob Sims, Jeff Wylie and Stewart Rogan, Kim Thompson, Barrie Isaac and Bill O’Donnell. Vouchers went to Charles Doyle, Chicka Thompson, Dave Napper and Ian Poole.

Wednesday social and scarping out the door with the cash were Viv Gunter, Jeff Wylie and Ian Poole, in the runner up spot were Frosty, Jeff Dixon and Rocky Davis. Vouchers went to Stewart Rogan, Dick Croft, Ian Hodgkinson and Terry Miles.

Bowlers just a reminder that there will be an inhouse trial on Saturday the 25th of June if you can’t play could you let the selectors know as soon as possible.

The draw is on the board for the minor singles, if possible, could you organise your games as soon as possible so as we can get the next Championship started.
