Kew Men's Bowling Club

Saturday afternoon Kew Men’s Bowls had an informal game of bowls with one of the club legends in Dick Davies who has not been in the best of health of late but with family and friends in attendance Dick showed he still had the eye for bowls playing quite a few ends to the delight of his family. Cheers old mate as always, a pleasure to catch up with you.

The major minor pairs are underway and no surprises so far Ingo the stud Model and Barrie Isaac def Rod Sutton and Gary Hamilton, Steve McGregor and Mick Stuttard def Rob Edwards and Mick Ashford, Jeff Nichols and Bill Bailey def John Smith and Wayne Thrussell and Mick White and Brian Charters def Keith Nichols and Greg Darcy.

Monday pairs and picking up the cash were Andy Lloyd and Gary McLachlan, in 2nd spot Barry Davies and Peter McDonald, 3rd Terry Miles and Barrie Isaac and 4th Nolene Holt and Rob Edwards.

Wednesday social John Jarvis and Chicka Thompson were the rink winners with Rod Sutton and Gary Hamilton in the runner up spot. Voucher winners were Ian Hodgkinson, Pat O’Connor, John Jarvis, Steve McGregor, Barrie Isaac and Kevin West.

Bowls this week Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
