Kew Men's Bowling Club
Well here we go
again hopefully the bowls will continue without interruption from the demon
virus it’s been a long break so we will be all very keen to get back into
competition again.
There have been
a few games in the major pairs with Reggie and Trevor Robb winning against
Leslie Faulstone and Frank Raczka, Gary Ruprecht and Barry Isaac def Bill
O’Donnell and Ray Allan, Dave Napper and Ian Poole def Ian Hodgkinson and Bob
Sims.
Entries are
open for the major singles there is an entry sheet on the board and will close
on the 18th of July.
Wednesday
social and picking up the loot was Jeff Dixson and Greg Darcy the runner up
cash was won by Howard Burrows and Rocky Davis. Voucher winners were Frosty,
Ted Wilson, Greg Darcy and Keith the arm Nichols.
Friday’s
jackpot is safe in the treasurer’s hands and will be worth $236 on Friday the
10th of July. Rink winners were Budgie Brecard and Peter Ryan the
runner up moola went to Adrian Hilton and Warren Barnes. Voucher winners were
Peter Ryan, Warren Bates, Howard Burrows and Leslie Faulstone.
Monday monthly
pairs will be played on the 6th of July this is an open event men,
women and mixed play starts at 9 am uniform required come out and have a game at
the friendly club.
Bowls this week
Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days
mufti dress all welcome.
