Kew Men’s Bowls 

News week ending 19/1/2020.

Next Saturday the 25th we have a pennant trial against Port City there will be two teams going up to Port team 1 Rob Edwards, Mick Ashford, Gary Hamilton and Barrie Isaac. Howard Burrows, Peter Griffith, Peter Laing and Mick Stuttard. Frank Raczka, Dean Gemmell, Rocky Davis and Phil Collins. Team 2 Ian Hilton, Gary Cheers, Ian Hodgkinson and Terry Miles. Dave Napper, Ingo Model, Ray Allan and John Gemmell. Gary Ruprecht, Bob Sims, Bruce Fletcher and Brian Charters all players not mentioned will have a game against Port City at home there will be two teams coming to Kew you will need to check the board to see what team you will be playing in. Club uniform is required for Saturday 1 pm start roll up at 12.40.

Saturday’s cashpot triples was washed out with much needed rain.

Wednesday social and bolting out the door with the loot was Jimmy Race, Howard Burrows and Wayne Thrussell, the runner up dosh went to Ray Pantlin, Frank Raczka and Rob Edwards. Voucher winners were John Gemmell, Cliff Kerr, Frank Raczka, Dave Jones and Chicka Thompson.

The club fours entry sheet is on the board and will close on the 25th of January first round to be played by the 9th of February if you can’t play on or before the 9th you will need a sub or you will have to forfeit.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
