Bowlers please note Wednesday social bowls will be starting at 12.30pm not 9am.
Two games were played in the club pairs on Wednesday afternoon Frank Raczka and Peter Laing had a good win over Ian McLaren and Ron Hale, whilst the Wizard and the footy ref def Rod Sutton and Pat O’Connor best of luck in the next round lads. Friday saw two more games of pairs Rob Edwards and Mick Ashford def Dave Napper and Charles Doyle, Geoff Dixson and Jeff Wylie def Ross Harris and Warren Barnes. Sunday morning Paul Cini and Chicka Thompson def Tony Austin and Terry Stringer.
Saturday’s welcome to the new pennant players went off very well with a game of bowls and a high tea to finish there were no rink winners but there was some vouchers to be won and Mick the bicky eater Ashford was first out if you keep winning Mick we will have to swab you, Wayne Thrussell, Charles Doyle, Peter Griffith, The Wizard, Jim Race, Bindi and Tony Austin were the lucky winners.
Wednesday social and scooting out the door with their winnings were Adrian Hilton, Darren Darcy and Dave the rower Napper, the runner loot was Leslie Faulstone, Ian Hodgkinson and Reggie Robb. Vouchers went to Ray Chitra, Mick the bicky eater Ashford, Rob Edwards, Jim Race and Dick I never win anything Davies didn’t win anything.
