The previous question was: "Can a team's coach go on the green to inspect the head prior to giving advise ?"Polling showed the following results: Yes - 1 votes: Yes (if approved by the umpire) - 4 votes: No - 12 votes.
The majority were correct with the "No" vote. Refer law 44. The coach.....can give advice to a player during the course of play as long as: (law 44.4) "the person giving the advice does so from outside the boundaries of the green." No provision is given in the laws for the coach to go on the green of play.
