Current NSW Health Community Sport Restrictions to be Lifted
The following is a news release from Bowls NSW:
NSW Health & NSW Office of Sport have released that the current
restrictions in place for community sport will expire as from this Saturday
26th September 2020.
| Women's Bowls NSW & Bowls NSW would like to thank the clubs and
members for their patience during this 6-week restriction phase.
As from Saturday 26th September, both Associations advise
that:
All Association events
at District / Region / Zone level can recommence.
- Clubs can run tournaments/President’s
days etc. without the restriction of participants being from their
local or neighbouring LGA area only.
- The restriction on
minimising spectators and one parent only for junior sport has also
been lifted. (Please still ensure spectators are practicing social
distancing recommendations).
- Associations and Clubs
are reminded that they must still ensure their activity is delivered
in compliance with current Public Health Orders and COVID-19 safety
plan requirements.
