News from the HHDWBA

The following is a news release from the Hastings Haven District Women's Bowling Association.  Thanks to Kaye Stingel, Communications Officer for the District, for this news release and photos.

On Thursday 6th February the final of the District Open and Senior Pairs were set down to be played. The rain interrupted the game twice, so an early lunch was called. However the rain had other ideas and finally the Competition was called off.

In the Open Fours - Westport (Betty Oliver’s team) were playing Port City (Carol White’s team).
Lake Cathie (Lynne Thompson’s team) were playing North Haven (Maryanne Buckley’s team).

In the Senior Fours – Port City (Sue Wood’s team) were playing North Haven (Adele Pobje’s team)
Wauchope (Patricia Coombe’s team) were playing Hat Head (Elaine Brown’s team).

The continuation and final of the Fours will be played on Monday 10th February at North Haven.
