LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 24th DECEMBER

Mondays BBQ Mixed Social Bowls was
played inspite of the threat of rain with the winning pairs team being Mike
Ryan and Dick Engel.The Lucky Loser rink was won by a triples combination of Jenny
Roberts, Keith Clarke and David Jourdant.
Thursday’s Men’s Muffti Fours Social
Bowls was won by Glenn Tiley, Steve Webster, Bob Fischer and Phil Smith.
Runners-up were Hilton Hadfield, Steve Grimshaw, Denis Begley and Warren
Taylor. Philp. The Lucky Losers rink on the day was a triples team of David
Jourdant, Mike Storrier and Doug Rose.
Saturday’s Social Bowls provided
us with a successful winning pairs team of Gary Knox and his partner Danny
Hayel the visiting Club President from the Ocean Shores Bowling Club. The Lucky
Losers were Warren Dark and Geoff Delamotte.
A reminder to all men bowling
members that the Nomination Sheet for entry in the Club’s Major Pairs Championships
is still up on the Notice Board opposite the Bowls Office. Entries close at 6.00pm
on Sunday 31st December 2017 so be quick and put your entry in the Entry box.

before Friday the 12th January 2018.
