LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 30TH JULY, 2017
Steve Smith’s team won
through to the semi-finals of the Club Triples Championship this week and will
play Bob Ruming’s team on Saturday. The other semi will be played between the
Geoff Worley team and the Des Hancox team.
Paul Dewson, Keith
Lawton and Ron Campbell won on the winner’s rink on Monday while Anne
Armstrong, Barry Armstrong and Rob Eldridge chose to lose on the lucky loser’s
rink.
All rinks were occupied
on Thursday in glorious weather. Winners
were Bob Ruming, Roy Williams and Ron Freeman and Ed Byrnes, Barry Armstrong
and Ossie Bowd were runners-up. Stan Prentis, Ian Howes and John Gillett were
the lucky losers.
Winners on Saturday
were Geoff Worley and Frank Ryan while Gary Blackler and Harry Weegen were the
lucky losers.
