This week’s Minor Singles Championship games resulted in Ray Stokmanis, Rob Eldridge, Dennis Hamilton, Roger Miles, Peter Freeman, Peter Smith, Jim McGill, Denis Begley and Mike O’Neill moving through to the next round. If you missed out, get your entry in for the Major Singles Championship.
Monday’s winners were
Peter Harris, John and Helene White with the team of Ian and Anne Barclay and
Noel Elliot lucky losers.
On Thursday, we had 108
bowlers. Wait until that third green comes back in and we have over 120 bowlers
enjoying the day. Brian Hobby, R. Crawford, John Kennett and Steve Smith
enjoyed their bowls and then won the money. Runners up were John Jarvis, Derek
Wright and Bill Bailey with David Jourdant, Keith Clarke, Reg Garvan and Wayne
Garvan the happy losers.
Ray Stokmanis not only
won his singles game on Saturday, he was the sole rink winner with Dick Engel
and Reg Penney lucky losers.
