The previous question was: "A wide bowl comes to rest and may be out. It is not checked but later it is in the count. Action?"
Polling showed the following results: Assume the bowls is in - 4 votes; Assume the bowls is out and dead - 1 vote; Visually check the boundary line and decide - 7 votes.
The majority were correct - Refer law 17.3 regarding a dead bowl. "If the players do not realise that a decision is necessary as soon as the bowl comes to rest, the decision can still be made even if a number of bowls has been played after the bowl in question came to rest".
The new question concerns practise on the day that a championship match is being played.
