Queen of Scroungers


"Scroungers" is a new name to me for a bowls format but it looks interesting!

    Hello Smitty. There is a form of scroungers played at TUGUN on the Gold Coast. Rinks of 3 players using 4 bowls or 4 players using 3 bowls. The kitty is not centred and everyone draws in turn. Closest gets 3 pts, 2 pts then 1 pt. a Penalty of 3 pts if the kitty is thrown out of bounds or moved out of bounds. 2 games of 8 ends and 1 game of 10 ends. Highest score wins the dough. They usually get 2 greens competing
