Test your Knowledge

The previous question asked: Can a replacement player in a team play skip in a tournament? The results of the poll showed 4 for 'yes' and 9 for 'no'.

The correct answer is 'yes" - I assume many were thinking of substitute players who cannot plan skip.

Domestic Regulation 2.4.3 in the new law book states: "The replacement player, when approved by the Controlling body, becomes a constituted player and may play in any position, including skip". The previous law book also stated that a replacement player can play in any position.

The new question concern players changing position in the second round of a competition.- i.e. in a pairs competition can the lead now skip?
