The last question concerned a short bowl - "A delivered bowl comes to rest 13.5 metres from the mat. Is it still a live bowl?" The answer is 'no'. The minimum length is 14 metres as measured in a straight line from the centre of the mat to the nearest point on the bowl. (refer law 27.1.3)The new question concerns a bowl, on the correct bias, from a neighbouring rink that will make contact with the mat.
Until such time as the new law book is available reference will be made to the existing 2nd edition.
