A general meeting of the LNC District Umpires was held today at the Port Panthers BC. With a good turnout of umpires from the district it will help ensure all clubs are kept up-to-date on officiating matters.
Unfortunately Leo Finn, Chairman of State Umpires, was unable to attend but Des Hancox provided news of the revised and simplified structure for officials due to phased in during 2014 / 15. Des also advised that a new law book is scheduled to be available in March 2014 - details of changes will be advised as soon as they are available.
