Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 9th December.

Wednesday pm :- 78 bowlers with the day winners :- $15  Ron Osborn , Ken Roberts  & Max Lynch; $10 Jim Bultitude , Graham Purnell & John Boys.

Thursday pm :- 76 bowlers with the day winners :- $15 Ed Dasczyk  &  Jim Howard;  $10 Max Glasse  &  Barry Smith . The Jackpot of $600 was not won by Ron Osborn  & Terry Hodge  but each received a $10 voucher. Next week the jackpot will be $600.

Friday pm :-64 bowlers with the day winners being :- $15 Mark Hookham  & Bruce Anderson;  $10 Jim Bultitude  &  Brian Crutcher. The jackpot of $600 was not won by Dave Keller & Ron Bowman but each received a $10 voucher .Next week the jackpot will be $600.

Saturday am / pm  :-144 bowlers played in the Members only Tournament , 3 games of twelve ends ,

1^st - prize $1,200 with 3 wins + 32  Kevin Carmody , Norma Schwartz , Jim Burge & Lynne Thompson

2^nd - $800 with  3 wins +31 Col Halls , Ella Wright , Warren Francis & Bob Waterhouse

4^th - $400 with  3wins  Merv Green , Eileen Riedel , Dave Wilson & Warren Jamison

5^th - $400 with 3 wins + 25  Alf Wellings , Shirley Devine , Terry Millward & Janine Stockham

6^th - $360 with 3 wins +18  Fred Williams , Faye Schollum , Ron Bowman & Bob Kemp

Sunday pm :-52 Bowlers endured a game of bowls in very windy conditions .Day winners prizes :- $15 Sue Saunders , Max Glasse & Barry Smith $10 Carmel Daniels & Jennifer Munson $7 Lee Lennox , David Lomas & Ian Lennox .The Jackpot of $150 was not won .
