Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 21st October.

 

Wednesday pm :- 100 Bowlers with the day Winners :- $15  Allan Buss , Colin Halls  & Tom Cornforth  $10 Ollie Cook , John Rock  & Geoff Barney .

Thursday am :- $10 Debbie Amor & the marker Jan Gauld; $7 Denise Gudgeon & the marker Patty Morrison .

Thursday pm :- $15 Fred Rauch & Tom Smith;  $10 Terry Waterhouse & Bob Waterhouse. The jackpot of $600 was won by Ken Tonkin & Tom (irish) Robinson.

Friday pm :-72 bowlers with the day winners being :- $15 Allan Eames  & Keith Ashdown;

$10 Rob Bradbury  &  Greg Keft .The jackpot of $480 was not won by Tony Newell  &  Ken Lipscombe.Next week the jackpot $500 plus.

Saturday pm :-We had 52 bowlers play in our open pairs with the day winners :-$15 Ian Lennox  & George Moss;  $10 John Rock  & Brian Smith;  $7  Carol Banks & Terry Millward .The jackpot of $100 was not  won by David Lomas & Garry Deacon .

Mixed Fours Championship :- Shirlie Devine , Lois Bishell , Bob Counsell & James Cranna def Margaret Doyle, Garry Williams , Rosmary Roach & Warren Jamison: . Keith Ashdown , Lyn Stewart , Jamie Sallustio & Morgan Solman – Stewart def Andrew O’Kane ,Janine Stockham , Adele Pobje & Geoff Ball.

Sunday pm :- 66 players.$15 Anne Connell , Graham Connell & Neville Schwartz;  $10 Carol Blevins , Joan Limbert & Ron Limbert;  $7 Francis Fairbrother , Beth Hicks & Jim Fairbrother;  Lucky envelopes 1^st Elaine Riedel 2^nd Joy Barry 3^rd David Lomas 4^th Brian Crutcher 5^th Grace Greenaway.
