Port City Men's BC Weekly News Report

Port City Men's Bowling Club news report for the week ending Sunday 14th October.

Wednesday pm :- 100 Bowlers with the day winners :- $15  Ollie Cook , Alex McAlpine  & Geoff Barney  $10 Julian Duczynski , Rob Bradbury  & Chris Thornton .

Thursday pm :- Washed out

Friday pm :-72 bowlers with the day winners being :- $15 David Lomas & George Moss
$10 Fred Williams  &  Keith McCosker .The jackpot of $418 was not won by Merv Green  &  Dave Wilson .Next week the jackpot $460 plus.

Saturday pm :-We had 48 bowlers play in our open pairs with the day winners :-$15 Brian Collis  & Ron Apps  $10 Brenda Burge  & Jim Burge , $7 Dawn Olsen &  Jan Drewsen .The jackpot of $340 was won by Fred Rauch & George Moss . 

Mixed Fours Championship :- Shirlie Devine , Lois Bishell , Bob Counsell & James Cranna def Judy Brady, Eveline Ramsay , Keith Hall (sub) & Ian Binder: Andrew O’Kane , Pat Light (sub) , Adele Pobje & Geoff Ball def Anne Connell , Norma Schwartz , Graham Connell & Neville Schwartz:  Keith Ashdown , Lyn Stewart , Jamie Sallustio & Morgan Solman – Stewart def Barbara Gunn , Carol Bowman , Ron Bowman & Peter Gunn .

Sunday pm :- 100 Players with 34 from Forster Travelling Bowlers .The jackpot of $120  was won by  Jennifer Munson , Norma Schwartz & Jack Milnes  & Brenda Burge  , Martin Wallis  &  Jim Burge  .$10 Vouchers 1st C.White 2nd B.Parkinson 3rd Brian Blevins 4th Eric Durrant 5th Max McCrow 6th Nancy Hayes 7th Merv Green 8th Janice Keene 9th J.Curtis 10th Les Scholz .
