Round 8 of pennants was almost concluded with the twos being washed out the fours went down the sixes went down but the mighty sevens had a great win and is still in with a chance. Pennant teams for round nine will be on the board please tick your name off or let the selectors know if unavailable.

The major singles keeps rolling on with Mick Ashford proving too good for Jeff Nichols, Barrie Isaac def budgie Brecard, Warren Bates def Terry Duff, Wayne Thrussell def Jeff Wylie.

Friday’s jackpot is still in the bank and will be worth $242 of Friday the 17th of May rink winners were Ellery Ross and Mark Hammond, the runner up cash went to Cliff Kerr, Ian McLaren and Ray wicky Allan. Vouchers went to George Ganic, Adrian Meredith, Stewart Rogan and Ted Wilson.

Wednesday Social and scurrying out the door with the loot was John Ockers, Mick Bate and Dean Gemmell, the runner moola went to Gary Bewley, Rod Sutton and Bob Sims. Voucher winners were John Gemmell, Barrie Isaac, Warren Bates and Rick Beston.

There is an entry sheet on the board for the major triples entries will close on the 25th of May.

Wednesday social is the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
